Critical reception[edit]

  1. To run BEAST on Mac OS X, you will need to have Java installed. Older versions of Mac OS had Java installed by default but this is no longer the case. BEAST currently requires at least version 6 of Java and this can still be installed as an optional package from Apple.
  2. What is MacAttack? You control a little green horseshoe shaped polygon at one end of the screen, and Blast away at an onslaught of viruses that spill in from the other. The game is simple to pick up and super responsive with it's mouse control.
  3. Download Marble Blast Gold for Mac. Roll your marble through a rich cartoon landscape of moving platforms and dangerous hazards.

The game has a Metacritic score of 87%, based on 10 critic reviews.[1]

Slide To Play wrote ' If you've been looking for a game that will impress your friends, look no further. Blast-A-Way is a fun, casual game that looks fantastic. '[2] AppSpy said ' Blast-A-Way invokes the friendly atmosphere of Little Big Planet, but puts you behind the wheel of three explosive maniacs set on solving their problems with brute force - all for the children you have to understand. '[3] Multiplayer.it wrote ' Blast-A-Way it's a true surprise, even on the quite crowded physics puzzle genre. Another quality game from Illusions Labs. '[4] TouchGen said ' Overall, Blast A Way is great puzzle game. It's beautifully presented, but more importably its fresh and challenging, with that all important 'one more try' factor. '[5] Digital Spy said ' Camera adjustment issues aside, inspired level design and creative puzzle mechanics make Blast-a-way an easy iOS recommendation. '[6] Touch Arcade said ' While Illusion Labs doesn't particularly offer anything innovative, Blast-a-Way proves that there is still room in the overcrowded puzzle arena for games that excel in pure execution. '[7] Pocket Gamer UK wrote ' A bright and slick puzzler with some excellent mechanics, and imaginative level design. '[8]
